One-Day Beginner Class
Make a suncatcher from pattern to polish.
No skills needed!
Learn basic copper foil construction.
Choose from several of our patterns.
Supplies and tools are included.
Leave with a finished piece.
1 to 6 people per class.
Minimum age 13.
Just bring yourself and a smile!
Fee: $75.00
Time: 10:15am - 5:00pm
Classes are on Saturdays
Improving Your Soldering Class
We will teach you the skills and techniques to improve your soldering.
Beginner skills in soldering are required.
3 hours of instruction + studio use for the rest of the day to continue working on your project.
Must bring your project and the soldering iron you use most often.
Your project must be cut and foiled before class.
Supplies are not included but may be purchased from our store.
Fee: $75.00
Time: 10:15am - 5:00pm
Classes are Wed. through Sat. Call to schedule a class date.
Improving Your Cutting Class
We will teach you the skills & techniques to improve your glass cutting.
Beginner skills in cutting are required.
3 hours of instruction + studio use for the rest of the day to continue working on your project.
Learn about the different types of hand tools that are available and what works best for your project.
Have your pattern ready and glass picked out and ready to cut.
Supplies are not included but may be purchased from our store.

Studio Time
It's a great time to make the project hiding in your sketchbook for years!
Basic knowledge and skills in stained glass construction are required.
Tools and chemicals are included in the price. Studio members must supply their own glass, foil, solder, and other finishing products which may be purchased at The Glass Peacock.
Four Weeks - Studio Time
Use the studio any time the shop is open for four weeks. Weeks do not have to be consecutive!
Time: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Wed. - Sat.
Fee: $55.00
Four Day - Studio Time
Use the studio for a total of four Saturdays. They do not have to be consecutive!

FAQs
What is our age limit?
Our age limit is 13.
You will be working with sharp glass and hot soldering irons.
What do I need to bring?
Yourself and a smile.
Safety gear is provided for all classes or each student can bring their own.
If you wear prescription or reading glasses please bring them to ensure you can see the intricate details clearly, leading to more accurate work.
Students must wear closed towed shoes each day.
When do I have to pay?
All classes must be paid in advance.
Payments can be made either by 1) stopping by the shop or 2) via phone during business hours.
What does a class include?
Unless otherwise noted our classes include all supplies.
Some classes require you to choose and pay for your glass. If this is the case the class will read supplies not included.
The best project to start after a beginner class?
We recommend a simple pattern, 20 to 30 pieces, and no larger or much less than 18 inches in length or width.
Can we share a class project?
No, you both have to pay for the class.
Food?
You can bring snacks and beverages.
All drinks must have a lid.
During our one-day beginner class, we provide time for you to leave and eat lunch at one of the local restaurants.
Parking?
There is street parking in the front and parking in the back off of Remsburg Dr.
